KIPON R EOS A adapter is designed for the RED Epic/Scarlet-X camera, allowing Canon EOS mount lenses to be mounted onto RED Epic/Scarlet-X camera bodies. Due to the automatic nature of the Canon EOS EF lenses, the aperture typically can not be adjusted after connecting to a other camera body. However after connecting the KIPON R EOS A adapter, the aperture can once again be adjusted by means of internal iris blades.

With KIPON R EOS A adapter, although the lens will fit physically, automatic diaphragm, auto-focusing, and other functions will not work, only manual model will be available.
